The Walk of Faith

A Christian's life can be described as one - a walk of faith. That's what God wants us to do, to walk each day with faith in Him, that in every situation, we put our faith in Him, no matter how big or small the situation is. Having faith means to put our trust in Him completely. We cannot please God without faith.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6

If you think about it, you can't live without no faith. You must have some sort of faith, whether it be in God or in other things (or maybe in a number of things). If you had no faith whatsoever, you would not be sitting down on the chair right now. You had to do that in faith knowing that the chair will hold you up.

But you say this is different from having faith in God because you already know that the chair is not going to collapse, not true. If you had never ever heard of a chair or even sat in a chair you wouldn't be as certain. Likewise we need to experience God, the more we experience Him, the more faith we will have in Him. Don't discount things before you try them, and you certainly can't afford to discount God from your life.
